Albert Einstein once said, 

Creativity is contagious. Pass it on

That Einstein was one smart cookie. And he's right...creativity is contagious and I know that for my mom and I, sharing our creativity and inspiring others is what we love most in life. 

We decided in the beginning that if we were going to start our own shop and blog together, we needed to provide our customers (or friends, as we like to call them) with something more than just a product in our shop. 

We want to provide creative inspiration. 

Everything in our shop is handmade and my mom and I learned to make all these things by practicing. Taking classes, watching tutorials, sitting for hours in our sewing/craft rooms messing things up and best of all, asking our talented friends and family for their how-to advice. People shared with us and now we want to share with you.

We want The Polka Dot Posie to be a place where people can come to shop, learn and share. My mom and I will be sharing some of our own tutorials and hopefully some of you out there will want to share yours and link up with us!! We want to pass it on...and we need all of you to do that!!
